Grandmother's Garden Quilt

Just finished this quilt. The block was taken from the Sylvia Bridal Quilt, some of the blocks were done in New Zealand when I went to visit my sister this Spring. I hand quilted it. It's an odd size, it covers the top of my queen bed.

I finished the quilt top today, all except the borders. Here it is,

Sylvia update

As of today I have 102 blocks completed. Having daughter Rachel with her husband Chris here along with darling grand daughter Felicity, it makes it near impossible to sew at all. Still was able to spend an hour or so in the sewing room today.
I would like to get Sylvia completed by mid June. Then on to other projects.
I sent the dresden plate out to be quilted, I'm looking forward to seeing it, I am planning on putting a scalloped edge on (the first one I've attempted.
I'm on the lookout for the next quilt idea/pattern.

Today I finished putting the dresden plate together, not sure if I need to add a border - it will make it a bit bigger - a good idea.
